Some people mistake our creations for wax, but everything you see on our website and Instagram, from the flowers to the berries, is made from soap. They look so lifelike that most people only realise when they touch them. And because every piece is shaped by hand, no two are exactly alike.
Every piece begins as a design sketched by our Art Director and comes to life by hand in our London studio. Each petal, leaf and berry is shaped, coloured and scented individually, then assembled and finished by hand until it looks just like the real thing. It takes skill, patience and an artist’s eye, which is why no two pieces are exactly alike. Our designs are inspired by the world around us: flowers and fruit, as well as playful pieces like champagne bottles and cakes.
Yes, every single piece. Colours and scents are blended by hand for each design, whether it’s a red rose, a pink bunny or a deep green champagne bottle. Each piece is then refined and finished by hand, so the details look just right. Nothing is mass produced.
We use premium soap bases from Stephenson, a long established British manufacturer known for its quality. Our favourites are a goat’s milk base, rich in vitamins and wonderfully moisturising, and an SLS free base, a vegan option without synthetic sodium lauryl sulfate. Both are gentle on the skin, so every piece is as kind to use as it is beautiful to look at.
